My daughter is playing Soccer and we found out that all of her games will be on Sunday afternoons! That's crazy!! Most of them will start at 1:00. This really bugs me..... If she wasn't so excited to be playing I would yank her right out of it! We'll just have to make it work. Church first, then we'll eat a packed lunch as we scramble to the soccer field! Not the way that I like to spend my Sunday's. I don't even keep the store open on Sunday's. That is just the day of worship and rest in my opinion.
Now that I have vented...this week has given me a greater appreciation for my employees at By Design. Talking about going the extra mile, extra 10 is more like it! I am so incredibly blessed to have such wonderful caring employees. They are always there to help and are so much fun to work with. We really do have the best times together. They are more than employees, they are treasured friends. So THANK you Cheryl, Dusty, Lacey, Christy, Amy, Catherine and little Katie and Briana (yes, even the little ones have pitched in to help). You are all the best!! Couldn't have done it without you and wouldn't want to! We have had so much prep work to prepare for the Shop Hop this week. All of that is behind us, and now the great part starts! All the Shop Hoppers come to see us. It is a blast watching women laugh and spend the day with their friends. Shopping, scooping up great deals and just having fun! I like it best when the store is filled with laughter, it makes my heart smile. We are blessed to have so many great Scrapbook stores in the area. 7 total who are participating in the Shop Hop this week. It always makes me sad when someone comes in and tells me they don't have an LSS in their area. What a crying shame!
Okay, I'm dog tired. Need to get some sleep....
