Enjoying the Journey: What a great weekend

So, I started the weekend off working Friday night at the "Crop til you drop" at the store. It was fun!! I rarely get to sit and crop anymore. Cheryl and Christi stayed and we just laughed and laughed! We didn't get to start until 9:00 p.m. because we had a ton of new arrivals that needed to be put in the computer and put out. Some yummy things ;-) Back in the day I could stay up really late, but would you believe those women stayed until 4 a.m. !? My husband thought I had lost my mind dragging in at 4:30 in the morning! Those husbands just don't get it.

I slept until 10:30 Saturday morning, or should I say crashed until 10:30!! Then got up had coffee and hit the water with the fam. It's the first time we've been out in the boat since before Christmas. Still a bit chilly but nice! We went over to Kemah and ate. It's so nice to see things coming back together after Hurricane Ike. They have even added a few new rides. Here's a picture I snapped on our way home....just love the sunsets here.

Spent Sunday at church and then straight home for an afternoon nap. Just love those Sunday naps!! It just helps catch you up on sleep for the week to come. Speaking of week to come, my head is just spinning with all that is coming up at By Design. We have so much in the works, tax season hitting, kids and spring break!! Wow, it just makes me tired thinking of it all....but very excited at the same time!

On a side note, I have really enjoyed watching what the 3 Fab Girls are up to, Janet, Heidi and Rhonna. I love the new House of 3 website "the design district" what a clever idea, don't you agree!? If you haven't checked it out, you should!!
